July, 2007, The first WordCamp was hosted in San Francisco, and it marked the beginning of a series of worldwide user gatherings of WordPress users and developers. In September 2007, we hosted in Beijing, China the first ever WordCamp outside the United States: WordCamp Beijing 2007.

This year, in September 2008, WordCamp Beijing is renamed as WordCamp China, and will be hosted in two biggest cities in China: Beijing and Shanghai. And we are delighted to announce that the founder of WordPress, Matt Mullenweg, will give keynote speeches in both cities.
